Archives

The Archives Ministry shall collect, catalog, preserve, and display the Church's history, artifacts, and records and educate the congregation, community, and constituents about the history, faith, Christian witness, and significance of St. Albans Congregational Church UCC.


The Archives ministry started as an organized work group in 2005; the workgroup requested and archived Church Ministry status ("with all of the responsibilities, requirements, and benefits accorded to church ministries") by a vote at the Quarterly Church Business Meeting of the Congregation on Saturday, September 30, 2006. The early members are Jeanette Judkins, Almeta Cantlo, Patricia Ollison, Sandra Pringle, Hyacinth McKenzie, Patsy Agee, Julie Bartlett, Barbara Chapman, Bernard Leverett, Ben Ollison, Mari-Yan Pringle, Thomas Pringle, Andrea Scarborough, and Ameila Williams-Marshall.
